So a friend of mine is leaving for the UK very soon, and some of her close friends aren't going to be there later on to say goodbye, so she threw a (relatively early in the afternoon) 'high tea' party. (Not the pic above, but similar idea!)
Lovely garden, lovely Sunday for Wellington, although a bit windy...
I must say that although we ate alot of traditional 'afternoon tea' style food - club sandwiches, asparagus rolls, sausage rolls, lots of lovely fresh fruit, cupcakes, brownie, and peanut brownie cookies; we didn't really drink any tea! We did however have berry punch and pims punch. Lovely! Thanks to the wonderful girls who all contributed!
Absolutely wonderful to do something a little bit different on a Sunday afternoon!
Very much reminds me that Alice in Wonderland comes out very soon in NZ. Can't wait!
