Project Love: Telefilm Canada

Lovely little identity project for Telefilm Canada, designed by lg2boutique. Love the bright red and the type styling they have used in the logo. Direct from the press release...
The goal was to unify the promotional image for Canadian talent put forward at festivals and international-level events. lg2boutique took its inspiration from the country’s distinctive geography, putting the focus on the immensity of Canadian talent which is equalled only by the breadth of the country. In a reference that links the size of the country and the depth of talent the brand slogan “SEE BIG” was developed and will be the common thread of all the adaptations for visual identities. The colour palate was centred on red, a natural and symbolic choice for Canada. The typography was conceived using the existing Telefilm Canada logo for greater visual unity. It’s a complete visual language that puts the focus on the organization’s roots. The concept is available in brochures that present Canadian offerings, in printed publicity, on formal invitations, on various promotional objects, on the Web and at delegation kiosks. Throughout the year the new image travels the major festival circuit such as the Cannes Festival, the Canadian Front (New York), the Berlinale, the Sundance Film Festival and, of course TIFF, the Toronto International Film Festival.
