2012 - A year of adventure

So, 2012! The years seem to get shorter as I get older and this year hasn't been an exception! When Christmas and New Year come around I like to take the chance to think about how lucky I am to be living in London and travelling like a mad woman!

This year, after starting with a visit home, I have been to Copenhagen, Cardiff, Berlin, Gallipoli, Istanbul, Morocco (Marrakech, Essouira & Agidir), Paris (And Disneyland), Spain (Benicassium,  Barcelona, Valencia & Seville), Portugal (Lagos & Lisbon), Greece (Twice! Santorini, Ios, Paros, Naxos, Mykonos & Athens), Turkey (Again! Kusadasi, Ephesus, Pommekale, Cappadoccia, Istanbul), Belgrade, Sarejevo, Croatia (Split, Dubrovnik & everywhere in between!), Milan, Oslo, Tallinn and Helsenki...! Not a short list really, and it makes me realise how special this time of my life is! Living in London is always great fun and there is always something to do!

This year I will be celebrating Christmas with my London house family and the New Year with some of my best friends, snowboarding in Poland. I can't wait to get back to the snow! Bring on 2013!

Project Love: Peyton and Byrne

I know this branding project for Peyton and Byrne has been around for a little while, but I love it for it's gorgeous colour palette and simple, luxury overall feeling. Farrow Design have done such a beautiful job matching the branding to the modern, British bakery brand.

Project Love: Jeopardy Magazine

Lovely publication design for Jeopardy Magazine by Catherine Dimalla. Gorgeous pattern work throughout and nice simple typography runs throughout. Stunning printwork and the gold pops so beautifully on the black stock! via designworklife.

Project Love: Bonnard

Oh Anagrama, you've done it again with your truly refined beautiful branding skills. The palette for Bonnard includes gorgeous coloured painted spots based on Pierre Bonnard's post-impresionist paintings. Lovely gold foil in irregular shapes and textured paper stocks - all comes together to make an amazing brand identity.
