Project Love: Rivertown Lodge

Love the unusual typographic mark for Rivertown Lodge, designed by Ro & Co. Beautiful textures used throughout and love the forest green paired with the pastel pink.
Textures are evocative of classic camping materials such as tent canvas, speckled enamel dishware & patterns from nature.
Rivertown Lodge is a boutique hotel located in the heart of Hudson, New York. Celebrating the surrounding landscape and creative community, the brand identity brings out the best of details found in the great outdoors. Textures are evocative of classic camping materials such as tent canvas, speckled enamel dishware, and patterns from nature. The logotype serves as the foundation for three interchangeable lock-ups, creating a flexible yet considered system referencing Rivertown’s crafted yet down-to-earth nature. The brand is further brought to life through a suite of custom collateral pieces, produced by Brite Lines, chosen to reflect the lodge's own use of classic, raw materials – from wooden pens and pencils, to engraved brass lighters.
